Acted and led the transaction for a group of venture capital investors, particularly lead investor, Extream Ventures, in an early stage S$5.6 million investment in homegrown commodity trading software provider JustCommodity Software Solutions. Other investors in the group include OWW Capital Partners and Infocomm Investments, the equity investment arm of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. The investment would assist the company to enter new markets in Europe, Middle East and the Americas.

Acted and led the transaction for McAfee, Inc in its acquisition of privately owned tenCube for a confidential sum. The acquisition will give McAfee access to tenCube's WaveSecure mobile security service and provide it with a single platform to address the management and security of all mobile devices.

Acted and led the transaction, advised and assisted nine sellers including two venture capital firms, Sofinnova Partners and Walden International, in a cross border M&A;involving the sale of all their shares (preference and ordinary) in Sprice Pte Ltd to Travelport (Bermuda) Ltd. The transaction value is undisclosed.

Acted for Sembawang Shipyard Pte Ltd ("SSPL"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine Ltd, in a cross border joint venture transaction with Kakinada Seaports. SSPL and Kakinada Seaports formed a joint venture company - Sembmarine Kakinada Ltd ("SKL") - in India to establish and operate a one-stop integrated marine and offshore facility on the east coast of India to cater to offshore vessels and merchant ships trading or operating in the area, regarded as one of the world's key oil and gas exploration areas. SSPL will initially hold a 19.9 per cent share of the joint venture's initial investment of US$50 million, with an option to increase to 40 per cent.

Acted for Extream Ventures Pte Ltd (the "Fund Manager") in the establishment of its S$20 million Venture Capital fund, Extream Ventures Fund I Pte Ltd (the "Fund"). The Fund is intended to support emerging technologies in Singapore by investing and assisting in the growth of innovative early-stage companies. Also advised and assisted the Fund Manager in the relevant agreements with the foreign entities - Georgieff Capital (Germany) and ART Texas Capital (US) - in connection with these entities' investment in the Fund.
