Nadia Almenoar is a partner in Rodyk & Davidson LLP's Corporate Practice Group.
Nadia graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1998. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1999, and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales in 2003.
Nadia's current areas of practice include general corporate and commercial law, corporate finance, securities law, mergers and acquisitions and banking. Nadia has also practiced litigation and arbitration.
Nadia handles a wide range of general corporate and commercial work in particular in the areas of general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, insurance, banking and securities regulations. She provides regulatory and compliance advice to various private and public organisations across a wide range of industries including the insurance, banking, finance, energy, trading, manufacturing and technology industries. She advises clients on all aspects of their business, in particular corporate governance and compliance, corporate finance and employment and human resource issues. She has also handled numerous transactions, involving mergers, take-overs and joint ventures, and has acted for vendors, purchasers and financiers.
Nadia has also handled a wide range of litigation and arbitration matters involving corporate and commercial, insurance and banking disputes. She has conducted and/or assisted in appeals to the Court of Appeal, trials and interlocutory matters, and has experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
She has also practiced family and criminal law and continues to act as volunteer counsel for the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS) organised by the Law Society of Singapore.
