Adrian Huang is a consultant in Rodyk & Davidson LLP's Real Estate Practice Group.

Adrian is a highly experienced real estate lawyer who specialises in real property and conveyancing transactions. He has advised extensively on residential, commercial and industrial property issues. His area of particular expertise is corporate real estate and he has acted for developers, vendors, purchasers, borrowers and mortgagees in a wide range of property transactions.  

He has acted for vendors, purchasers, borrowers, mortgagees (including all the major banks and financial institutions) and Central Provident Fund Board, as well as for the mortgagee in mortgagee's auction sales. Adrian has acted for licensed major developers in the tender documentation and negotiation, and attended to the documentation for the sale and purchase agreements, in the tender for the purchase of land marked for residential and commercial development as well as in the sale of landed and strata properties. He has acted for the paramount mortgagees and lenders in the security documentation relating to commercial Urban Redevelopment Authority property sites.  Such documentation includes the paramount mortgage, assignment of building agreement, assignment of sale and rental proceeds, assignment of contracts, assignment of insurances, assignment of guarantees, corporate guarantees, personal guarantees, trust deed and deed of subordination.

Adrian's corporate banking work includes acting for lenders, borrowers, assignors, assignees, chargors and chargees in the security documentation for various types of multi-million dollar loan transactions across multiple currencies, involving, for example, transferable loan facilities, revolving credit facilities, guarantee facilities, fixed rate notes issues, variable rate notes issues, bond issues and warrants issues.

He has advised landlords on leasing issues in relation to major commercial and industrial properties such as UOB Plaza, OUB Centre, VivoCity, 8 Shenton Way, Sing Post Centre, Capital Square, Chevron House, Hitachi Tower, Bugis Junction Towers, Prudential Tower, Keppel Towers, Corporation Place and TechnoPark @ Chai Chee.

Adrian acted for Ascendas-MGM Funds Management Ltd, manager of A-REIT (Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust), and Mapletree Logistics Trust Management Litd, manager of Mapletree Logistics Trust, in their respective purchases and leasebacks of several buildings (Jurong Town Corporation and Housing & Development Board properties), where HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited (HSBCIT) executed documents as the trustee of A-REIT and Mapletree Logistics Trust respectively.
