Acting for an international petrochemical trading group of companies in disputes worth over US$120 million with major ship owners and oil companies.

Acting for various hospitals in claims made by patients in relation to alleged medical negligence.

Acted for a Japanese multinational corporation in their defence against the claim made by a Malaysian counterparty for goods allegedly had and received. The claim of the Malaysian counterparty was dismissed with costs at trial and on appeal.

Acted for a major insurance company in a personal injury claim in the High Court brought by a passenger of a taxi who was allegedly injured in an accident. Successfully obtained order that the plaintiff should compensate the insurance company's legal costs as the plaintiff had failed to accept the insurance company's offer to settle the matter out of court and had wasted the court's time.

Acted for Singapore Tourism Board ("STB") in a suit against a well known UK-based concert organiser for failing to organise what was to have been Singapore's largest-ever entertainment and musical event. Among other things STB sought damages for breach of contract and an account of over S$6 million in sponsorship funds which had been paid to the concert organiser for the event which the concert organiser failed to organise. STB's claim against the concert organiser was allowed both at trial and on appeal.
