Acting for the owner of an Indonesian petrochemical facility in respect of setting aside proceedings in Singapore, successfully setting aside a US$17 million arbitration award given in favour of the main contractor (reported at [2010] 4 SLR 672 and at [2011] SGCA 33).

Representing the Dow Jones Wall Street Journal Asia in contempt of court charges brought by the Attorney-General of Singapore [2009] 1 SLR 1103.

Successfully represented the architectural firm of Ong & Ong in its suit against three employees for moonlighting. A separate hearing will be held to assess the amount of damages.

Acted for an investor who successfully sued for the transfer of 175,000 company shares. The High Court held that the shares were held on a resulting trust by the defendant and ordered the shares to be transferred to the plaintiff, judgement reported at [2008] 3 SLR 957.

Acted for Boustead Projects Pte Ltd and other contractors in a High Court claim against Island Concrete (Private) Limited, for breach of a contract to supply ready-mixed concrete at fixed prices. This claim arose against the backdrop of the February 2007 Indonesian ban on sand exports to Singapore.
