Janice Ngeow is a partner in Rodyk & Davidson LLP's Finance Practice Group.

Janice's practice involves a broad range of ship finance work for local and foreign banks and institutional lenders. She has advised international shipowners on commercial shipping transactions, including new building contracts, and has considerable experience in relation to construction contracts used by the major yards in Singapore. Her practice encompasses domestic and cross border financing, facility and security documents, sale and lease back and operating lease transactions, sale and purchase agreements and closing documents, marine and other management services contracts and all types of charter contracts. Janice advises shipowners on marine insurances, and she has drafted equipment leasing and hire purchase documents for cranes, containers and machinery.

Janice's ship registration works includes setting up corporate structures and shipowner vehicles for shipping groups, advising matters relating to corporate law issues and tax issues in the shipping industry, advising shipowners on the requirements of The Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore and preparing documents for registering a ship in Singapore. She has extensive experience in the ship registration regulations of Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, India, Bangladesh, Liberia, Belize, Panama, Honduras, Denmark, Mongolia, Comoros and Marshall Islands.
