Acted as Singapore counsel to Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd (as security agent) and Standard Chartered Bank (as lender) in its US$255 million financing to A.P. Moller Singapore Pte Ltd for the acquisition of "Maersk Resilient" and "Maersk Completer". Also acted for Maersk Drilling Singapore Pte Ltd in the registration process of the 2 vessels, and novation/transfer of ownership.

Acted for Offshore International FZC (United Arab Emirates), which is a joint venture between Larsen & Toubro Limited and Sapuracrest Petroleum Berhad, in its acquisition financing for a heavylift derrick pipe lay combination vessel built by ASL Shipyard Pte Ltd (Singapore). The financing comprised of loan and guarantee facilities of up to an aggregate of US$110.4 million.

Acted as Singapore counsel to The Export-Import Bank of China in its US$295.768 million financing to A.P. Moller Singapore Pte Ltd for the acquisition of the "Maersk Newton". The financing comprised of secured loan facilities up to an aggregate of US$295.768 million. Also acted for A.P. Moller Singapore Pte. Ltd. in the vessel registration process.

Acted as Singapore counsel to HSBC Bank Plc (as security agent) and HSBC Bank Plc, Banco Santander S.A.and Calyon (as lenders) in their financing to A.P. Moller Singapore Pte Ltd for the acquisition of the "Maersk Bogor". The financing comprised of secured loan facilities up to an aggregate of US$252.792 million. Also acted for A.P. Moller Singapore Pte. Ltd. in the vessel registration process.

Acted as Singapore counsel to Nordea Bank Norge ASA as arranger and Nordea Bank Finland Plc, Singapore Branch as lender in a multi-currency credit facility of US$15 million and a multi-currency revolving credit facility of US$45 million. The facilities were for financing of planned investments in a shipyard in Vung Tau, Republic of Vietnam, and to provide construction financing to Aker Yards Singapore Pte Ltd for ships to be built at the shipyard.
