Successfully defended the fifth defendant Rayson Tan as lead counsel before Tay Yong Kwang J. A high profile landmark product liability decision in Singapore. Reported at Suit No. 731 of 2002 - Andrea De Cruz v Guangzhou Yuzhitang Health Products Co Ltd and Four Ors [2003] 4 SLR 682, as lead counsel.

Successfully led the defence for SilkAir in the claim against it in the Flight MI 185 litigation. Reported at Suit Nos. 1746, 1748-1752 of 1999 - Beryl Claire Clarke & Ors v SilkAir (Singapore) Pte Ltd, as lead counsel before Tan Lee Meng J. [2002] 3 SLR 100. Also successfully led the defence for SilkAir in the same matter before the Court of Appeal, reported at Civil Appeal No. 600146 of 2001 - Beryl Claire Clarke & Ors v SilkAir (Singapore) Pte Ltd, as lead counsel, Court of Appeal before Chao Hick Tin JA, Judith Prakash J and Yong Pung How CJ. [2002] 3 SLR 1.

Successfully led the defence for SIA in respect of claim under the amended Warsaw Convention. Also a leading decision by the Court of Appeal on the costs principles to be applied in offer to settle cases. Reported at Civil Appeal No. 21 of 2000 - Singapore Airlines Ltd & Anor v Fujitsu of Microelectronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd & Ors (Court of Appeal) before Yong Pung How CJ, LP Thean & Chao Hick Tin JJA. [2000] 1 SLR 241.

Acted as the Lead Counsel of the successful prosecution on behalf of IDA for damage to telecommunications cable under the Telecommunications Act. Reported at PSS 905 of 2001 - Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore v SAC Pte Ltd.

Successfully led the defence for CIAS in this leading decision by the Court of Appeal on the interpretation of article 22 of the Warsaw Convention and the applicability of the defence of limitation of liability under the Convention to the carrier's agent. Reported at Civil Appeal No. 313 of 1998 - Yusen Air & Sea Services (s) Pte Ltd v Kim of Royal Dutch Airlines & Anor, as lead counsel, Court of Appeal before Yong Pung How CJ, LP Thean JA and Lai Kew Chai J.
