Tang Woon Ee is a partner in Rodyk & Davidson LLP's Real Estate Practice Group.

Woon Ee specialises in securities and real estate transactions as well as private client services such as wealth management and asset protection. Her practice includes collective sales, leasing, securitisation, and sale and purchase of properties. In particular, she advises high net worth individuals on asset protection, estate and succession planning, wealth management and trusts, and drafting and advising on the terms of relevant documents.

She has represented property owners in the collective sale of properties and the applications to Strata Titles Board as majority owners for approval when there are dissenting owners. Her scope of work includes advising and drafting collective sale agreements amongst owners and drafting and negotiating the terms of sale with the developer purchaser.

Woon Ee frequently advises on legal issues relating to all types of property transactions including financing arrangements, building and retail mall leasing and management, and commercial and residential leases within and outside Singapore (China and India). Her clients include retail and institutional clients, multinational corporations, statutory boards, food and beverage chains and embassies. Her scope of work includes drafting, negotiating and vetting agreements for leases for incomplete buildings. She handles subleases and leases for offices, retail malls, restaurants, food courts, JTC Corporation properties, industrial properties, serviced apartments and residential properties.

In terms of securitisation, she has advised the manager in the documentation and negotiation of the securitisation of a retail mall and on related issues regarding the management and leasing of the mall.

She has represented vendors and purchasers in the sale and purchase of residential, commercial and industrial properties, and financial institutions and the Central Provident Fund Board in financing arrangements. Her experience includes drafting, vetting and negotiating terms of auctions, tenders and mortgagee sales.

Woon Ee has conducted seminars and courses for professional bodies and financial institutions in her areas of specialty.
