Rodyk's Corporate and Finance Practice Groups did very well at the recently concluded ALB SE Asia 2009 Law Awards. Rodyk won both the SE Asia M&A Deal of the Year and the Singapore M&A Deal of the Year awards.

The Tata Motors-Jaguar / Land Rover US$2.3 billion acquisition led by partner S. Sivanesan was voted SE Asia M&A Deal of the Year. Another Rodyk deal, the US$1.5 billion Maybank – Bank Internasional Indonesia stake acquisition, led by partner Gerald Singham, was also a finalist in this category.

The Singapore M&A Deal of the Year award went to the Lion Power Holdings – Senoko Power S$2.9 billion financing and acquisition, led by partners Jacqueline Loke and Doreen Sim.
