Rodyk Moots 2010


A showcase of the BEST LAWR MOOTERS from NUS Law School

Organised with the support of National University of Singapore Law School's Legal Analysis, Writing and Research Programme ("the LAWR Programme"), the Rodyk Moots 2010 is a mooting competition to showcase the best student mooters from the LAWR Programme.

Only the most outstanding performers at the LAWR Moots will be invited to compete.

The Rodyk Moots will be an opportunity for the top performing students in the LAWR Moots to pit their skills against each other before our panel of illustrious judges - the Honourable Justice Choo Han Teck, Philip Jeyaretnam, SC and Lok Vi Ming, SC. 10 students will be selected by the LAWR Instructors to showcase the best arguments of the LAWR Moots in accordance with the Rules.

The top 3 Competitors from The Rodyk Moots stand to win attractive cash prizes and the opportunity to represent NUS at the ALSA Moot Competition in Australia in July 2010. Pre-competition training and sponsorship by Rodyk will be provided. In addition, the top 3 Competitors will be offered internships at Rodyk & Davidson LLP.

First Prize:        S$1,000
Second Prize:    S$500
Third Prize:       S$300


After the Rodyk Moots, all first year NUS law school students and tutors are invited to attend the “I Survived My First Year” BBQ & Beer Party at the upper quadrangle!
