Rodyk acted for shareholders (Fullerton Management Pte Ltd - a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, Air Alliance Pte Ltd and Janburgh Holdings Pte Ltd) of low cost airline Jetstar Asia Airways Pte Ltd in the transaction with mid-priced airline, Valuair Limited, to form an investment holding company. The new holding company, Orangestar Investment Holdings Pte Ltd, formed by the shareholders of Jetstar, including Qantas, will wholly own and operate both Jetstar and Valuair.
