Rodyk provides comprehensive advisory and documentation services on ship sale and purchase, leasing, financing, and registration as well as the drafting and negotiation of shipping related contracts.
We are experienced advising and representing vessel owners on attaining Approved International Shipping (AIS) Scheme and tax-exempt status in Singapore. We represent major shipyards in offshore construction projects, including projects involving the oil and gas industries, as well as cross-border projects, particularly in India, Indonesia and China.
Our full suite of services includes the structuring, negotiation and drafting of all documentation in relation to ship construction, financing, sale and purchase, and registration, as well as marine insurance and charter contracts. We provide strategic and prompt advice on interim preservation orders and injunctions, and search and seizure orders. Representing clients as solicitors and as counsel in arbitrations within and outside Singapore, we are familiar with all major arbitral rules including ICC, UNCITRAL, HKIAC, CIETAC, SIAC, AAA and ICSID.
